            Protest Decisions 2016 ESD 87 and 2016 ESD 89, regarding the eligibility of Howie Hawkins, Local Union 317, were issued on January 26 and January 27, 2016 (OES Case No. E-119-012316-NE).   On January 28, 2016, Mark May, a member and principal officer of Local 317, and the original protestor, sent a letter to the Election Appeals Master, appealing the decision by the Election Supervisor, which appeal was first received via email on February 4, 2016.  Later that day, at 4:29PM (Eastern), Mr. May advised the Election Appeals Master by email that “I am withdrawing my Appeal in the above-referenced Protest Decisions.”

The Protestor having submitted in writing an application to withdraw his appeal of ESD 87 and 89, and having heard no objection from any party, the application is hereby GRANTED, and the appeal is deemed WITHDRAWN.
