BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS

Aaron Bembury, member of Local Union 355, filed a pre-election protest pursuant to Article XIII, Section 2(b) of the Rules for the 2025-2026 IBT International Union Delegate and Officer Election (“Rules”) concerning allegations related to the posting of the nomination meeting results.

On February 11, 2026, Bembury discussed this protest with the Office of the Election Supervisor investigator assigned and stated his intent to withdraw it. Bembury subsequently sent an email stating that his protest “has been satisfied” and withdrew it. Finding that withdrawal furthers the purposes of the Rules, we deem this protest WITHDRAWN.
