IN RE: LEEDHAM CAMPAIGN, Protestor.
Protest Decision 2006 ESD 232
Issued: May 9, 2006
OES Case No. P-06-260-041006-NE

The Leedham Campaign filed a pre-election protest pursuant to Article XIII, Section 2(b) of the Rules for the 2005-2006 IBT International Union Delegate and Officer Election ("Rules"). The protest alleged that supporters of the Bulgaro slate in the Local Union 294 delegate and alternate delegate election solicited and received an improper employer contribution from UPS, in violation of the Rules.

By fax dated May 4, 2006, the protestor requested to withdraw the protest.

We grant the protestor's request and deem the protest WITHDRAWN.
