Office of the Election Supervisor for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters

IN RE: NORMA WHITE, RICHARD LOPEZ, MICHAEL CORRIGAN,
AND IRENE BROWN, Protestors.

Protest Decision 2006 ESD 241
Issued: May 15, 2006
OES Case Nos.P-06-105-020106-MW; P-06-245-032806-MW; P-06-251-040506-MW; and P-06-252-040506-HQ

Norma White, Richard Lopez, Michael Corrigan, and Irene Brown, members of Local Union 743 and candidates on the Unity for Change slate, filed 4 pre-election protests pursuant to Article XIII, Section 2(b) of the Rules for the 2005-2006 IBT International Union Delegate and Officer Election ("Rules"). The protests alleged that the New Leadership slate used an employer's email system to campaign, allowed a non-union person to serve as an observer of the ballot printing, and campaigned during work hours, all in violation of the Rules.

By letter dated May 8, 2006, White, Lopez, Corrigan and Brown requested to withdraw their respective protests.

Accordingly, we grant the protestors' request and deem the protests WITHDRAWN.
