IN RE: ELIGIBILITY OF CAROL BURTON, GLENDA CORBETT, and DEBRA CRENSHAW, Local Union 237
Protest Decision 2011 ESD 70
Issued: January 20, 2011
OES Case No. E-015-011011-MW

Edmund Kane, member of Local Union 237, filed a pre-election protest pursuant to Article XIII, Section 2(b) of the Rules for the 2010-2011 IBT International Union Delegate and Officer Election ("Rules"). The protest alleged that Carol Burton, Glenda Corbett and Debra Crenshaw are ineligible for nomination as delegate or alternate delegate.

By letter faxed to us January 12, 2011, Kane requested to withdraw the protest.

Finding that permitting withdrawal is consistent with the purpose of the Rules, we deem this protest WITHDRAWN.
